Twitter lets you say more with the same charcter limit

Twitter Inc. is making a major shift in how it counts characters in Tweets, giving users more freedom to compose longer messages. It’s expanding the number of things you can post in a 140-character tweet, without expanding the number of characters.

It plans to do so within the next few months, usernames, quoted tweets, photos, and other media attachments will no longer count against the tweet’s 140-character limit.

The new Premier League visual identity, courtesy of DesignStudio, to be used from the 2016/17 season. The brand visuals had started being used early on in the year even before the premier league kicked off.

With such a monolithic presence on the world footballing landscape, this new rebrand has garnered worldwide attention and of course – as with all major rebrands – an outpouring of opinions.

The new visual identity is devoid of the previous sponsor Barclays, and as such a the new identity features a simpler layout – which interestingly doesn’t even include a football.

EID Mubarak is here, so you better get ready! With Ramadhan coming to an end, it is time to start making all the prep work for the big day.

Eid Al-Fitr translates from Arabic as the ‘festival of breaking the fast’ and usually lasts for a number of days, involving a range of celebrations among families and friends who come together to eat and pray.

Traditionally, it is celebrated for three days and is an official holiday in all Muslim-majority countries.

Ramadan will end this year on or around Thursday July 7, depending on the sight of the moon.

Muslims will gather together at the mosque for a prayer, before spending the day with family or friends and wishing one another ‘Eid Mubarak’, or ‘Blessed Eid’.

At the office we made a little game to see who makes the best graphic to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadhan, and this is what guys came up with.
